msktutil software package provides Utility for interoperability with Active Directory, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install msktutil
msktutil is installed in your system.
Make ensure the msktutil package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep msktutil *
You will get with msktutil package name, version, architecture and description in a table
